Why this program?

The goal of the program is to coach qualified dentists, whose professional activities will help to increase the level of dental services, prevent oral diseases and improve overall health. The graduate of this program will have basic knowledge of oral health care medicine (clinical and natural sciences) and deep knowledge of dental specializations. One will also assimilate dental clinical skills considering professional ethical values. Additionally, the graduate will also have skills of learning and teaching, professional growth-development, research and analysis, decision-making, which allows him to logically analyze identified symptoms and see the connection between common pathogenetic process, reasonably set and implement comprehensive treatment plan, pursue patient’s management, have basic manual skills that ensures both prophylactic and therapeutic activities. After the course completion the graduates will have the right to hold the positions according to the Georgian legislation in dental clinics (junior dentist, dental assistant – Order of the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs 01-11 / N 2012, March 14), health care organizations and health insurance providing companies (relations with medical and dental institutions, with the focus on the dental services and dental management of insured people, assistant of the family doctor). Also prepare the student for specialization (residency programs) and the next levels of learning (Master and Doctoral programs). Also hold the positions according to the legislation of various countries.

A graduate has the ability: To research independently the applicability of international legal norms and regimes in the specific fields/issues. (For example, conventional arms control and global trade). To organize and participate in thematic negotiations and processes in the specific issue-areas, not least to identify (if needed) the format and structure of changes in organizational design of negotiations.

The program oriented at providing students with extensive knowledge and experience for research and development in information technology. The courses of information technology include: Computer Systems and Networks (Cisco CCNP Certificates), Web and Network Programming, Database (Oracle Certificate), Mobile Application development, ERP Systems, and Logical and Probability Methods in Information Technologies. Various elective courses give opportunities to the students to deepen communication skills, acquire extensive knowledge and skills related to research-based conclusions in order to solve the problems in the field of modern information technologies addressing the issues that require the extensive knowledge of the principles and processes. The aim of the Master of Education program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation is: provide studies in Innovation and Technology to have the skills needed to work as a senior manager and be ready to make an independent, relevant business decision in the field of entrepreneurship, innovation and management. The program objective is to provide graduates with the ability to understand the formation and conduct of the security policy in the field of international politics. Further, to provide the graduates with the competence of understanding security policy making and organizing defense matters as an integral component of the security, as well as to research independently international political processes as intersection of the state policy, security and defense issues.

A graduate has the ability: To resolve the dilemma of using a defense/military element as a priority foreign or domestic political instrument, along with the ability to deal with the problem of the ranking of national interests in the context of global security.
To calculate threat-response ratio resource wise (incl. force structure and capabilities) and apply legal and normative/regulatory mechanisms in legal disputes, or sectoral policies.
